5 Reasons Why iPhone 12 Pro Max is The Best Phone
When it comes to selecting a mobile phone, we are spoilt for choice. The sheer number of options available in the market, each available with a plethora of features on their own is enough to confuse even the biggest tech nerds.
When my Samsung galaxy note died on me, I scoured the market for my next one and this time I needed an upgrade.
After careful consideration and research, I zeroed in on the newly launched flagship product from Apple, the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
It has been a remarkable change from the android era, and I am listing down 3 major points below as to why The iPhone 12 Pro Max should be on your list, especially if you are in the market looking for a premium phone.
- The Design & Display
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the biggest iPhone released by Apple yet. The 6.7 inch OLED Super Retina XDR OLED panel display uses Apple’s ceramic shield reinforced material.
The size of this phone also gets amplified due to the flattened edges of the top and bottom glass, along with the flatter frame.
It is slimmer than the iPhone 11 Pro max released last year by 7.4 mm, but is taller and wider too.
At 226 grams, this phone might not be a great fit for people with smaller hands. The sheer size and weight might be too much for quite a few.
2. Camera
The camera quality of the iPhone is good enough for making movies they say. Since I am not a movie maker, I’ll reserve my judgement on that. The iPhone traditionally has always been known for their brilliant cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro Max builds on that reputation.
The main rear camera is equipped with a 4,7 percent larger sensor and bigger pixels which gives improved performance in less light.
Apple has also used sensor-shift stabilization. This means that the sensor can move slightly on it’s axes to compensate for the shakes when held by hands. The lens will not move in this scenario.
The sensors are still 12 megapixels and they support deep fusion, night mode, night portrait and smart HDR 3.
Needless to say that taking quality photographs and videos with the new iPhone 12 Pro Max would be a breeze.
3. Battery
iPhone are seldom known for great battery life but the iPhone 12 Pro Max give a great performance in the battery department too.
The 3687 mAh battery can last for two days on a full recharge. If you are a heavy gamer or use various applications rigorously, the battery will drain quicker, but still there would be enough juice in it to last an entire day.
You can charge the iPhone with the help of any standard USB Type-C charger. Apple’s MagSafe wireless charger is good but it heats up pretty quick and the pace of charging is slower than that of a wired charger.
Are there any Cons?
The answer to the above question would be, sure there are! The iPhone 12 Pro Max is an amazing phone but it has it’s pitfalls too.
- The price is a major factor. That though hasn’t prevented people from making a beeline to their nearest store, to lay their hands on one.
- It’s on the heavier side and is larger too. Not everybody would be comfortable handling a large and especially expensive phone. It is on the heavier side too, so some might have an issue with it.
- On heavy gaming, the phone tends to heat up. All phones do but being an Apple product and for the price you pay, it can be better.
Conclusion
To sum it up, if budget is not a constraint and you are fine with having a phone so big that it will capture the attention of everybody around you, The iPhone 12 Pro Max should be the phone you should go for.
